SLC Community Choirs is excited to once again participate in The ExtraGive, Lancaster County’s day of giving!

For nearly 19 seasons, we have brought singers, musicians, and audiences together through the shared joy of music. Your support helps us provide meaningful musical experiences, expand music education opportunities, and continue offering our concerts on a pay-what-you-will basis, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to experiencing live music.

This year, your generosity will help support everything from our concert season to our growing opportunities for young singers through the Children’s Choral Festival.

More Than a Concert. An Experience in Making Music.

All Day Rehearsal and Performance February 13, 2027
Open to Students in Grades 4–8

The SLC Community Choirs Children’s Choral Festival gives young singers the chance to experience music from every side of the stage.

Beginning January 4, students in grades 4–8 will rehearse weekly as they prepare for a culminating festival and performance on Saturday, February 13. Along the way, they’ll work with our adult choir, meet musicians and explore their instruments, and discover how sound, lighting, technology, and backstage teamwork help transform music on a page into a live production.

The experience culminates with an all-day festival on February 13, followed by a public performance at 4:00 PM.

The participation fee is $50 per singer and includes music and program materials, a festival shirt, lunch and snacks on February 13, and the complete rehearsal, educational, and performance experience.

Registration is open to students in grades 4–8 through November 30, 2026.

The February 13 performance will be open to the public on a pay-what-you-will basis. Reserved seating will be required due to limited capacity, with reservation information coming closer to the performance.
